Moments, Marked and Remembered

Hello – let me block the road for a while

The safari trail came to a quiet halt as he stepped onto the mud road, unhurried and certain.

For a moment, we waited — guests in his world.

He moved closer, close enough to feel the weight of his presence, lifting his tusk as if in a brief, wordless greeting. Fear crept in, sharp and real, as the distance between us disappeared.

Then, just as calmly, he turned and vanished into the jungle.

The road opened again — but the silence lingered longer than the tracks he left behind.
